A one-stop solution for the specialty gases market.

Responding to the growing needs of independent gas distributors, Weldcoa launched the start-up of a new division, Precision Specialty Gas Products Division (PSGP), which is dedicated to providing a one-stop solution to the specialty gas market.
"At Weldcoa we realized that we were not considered the first
choice in specialty gas filling equipment and lab support,"
states Hector Villareal, Vice President Sales and Marketing. "To establish a top notch operation, we sought to bring on board the best people, those whom we felt were well respected in the
specialty gas arena. After consulting with our clients, two names kept popping up: Don Renner and Tom Badstubner. "Renner and Badstubner were providing consulting services and technical support to the IWDC (Independent Welding Distributors
Cooperative) and were both instrumental in working with the IWDC
to launch their new brand of specialty gases, called Purity Plus.
Ultimately, Don Renner was recruited by Weldcoa. Renner's first
task as a new Weldcoa employee was to broker the agreement
with Tom Badstubner's company, AsteRisk, to partner with Weldcoa. The partnership between Weldcoa and AsteRisk is now formally know as "Precision Specialty Gas Products."
"Don Renner brings to Weldcoa more than 30 years of hands-on operational experience within the industry. His experience includes the design and installation of cylinder filling systems, which incorporates the installation and set-up of specialty
gas filling operations and instrumentation labs. Many independent welding and gas distributors
in the U.S. have had a lab set-up by Don, and his work is highly regarded and respected throughout the industry." |
